Hi there! I'm Michael Cisterna and I'm a session drummer and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles with over a decade and half of professional experience in the music industry. I am a founding member of the Rock/Alternative band True North and I have recorded, collaborated, and/or performed live with such artists as Rynx, Selfish Things, Kingdom of Giants, Animals As Leaders, Scro, Loveless, and many more. I have also worked as a session drummer for several prominent rock producers, such as Kyle Black (State Champs, Pierce the Veil, Paramore), Anton DeLost (Seaway, Saint Asonia, Cleopatrick) and Mike Tompa (Silverstein, Adelaide Morin, Alex Porat).

I have a great studio at home where I am able to record top-quality drum tracks for a wide variety of artists. I focus on writing and recording tight, driven drum parts that work perfectly for the song. Whether it's a hypnotic rhythm, a deep pocket groove, technical chops or anything else, I want to work with you to craft the perfect drum performance each and every time.
