I work closely with each of my clients on a personalized basis, scheduling appointments for product reviews guided by respective feedback. I present the project and make any necessary technical corrections until the client is satisfied and the product meets industry standards.

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: he project I feel proud of is the main theme of the upcoming game "Goblin Time" by the Ecuadorian studio Fluffy Llama. In this project, I composed and produced the entire main theme, which is the prominent audio aspect of the game.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: At this moment, I am working as a composer for soundtracks for an emerging video game studio in Ecuador.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: I don't know anyone, but I hope to be able to build a community of colleagues whom I can recommend in the future.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: In certain cases, digital technology greatly facilitates the workflow, however, analog equipment will always provide productions with character and soul.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I always promise my clients that to the extent of my abilities and expertise, I will work until they are satisfied with the final product.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: What I enjoy the most about my job is being able to work from anywhere in the world and bringing to life an idea turned into a song.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: The most recurring question is about whether a bad recording can be improved. My answer is that it's better to do a new take.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: The main misconception is that mixing and mastering can fix a bad recording and composition. Mixing and mastering only enhance what has already been created and recorded.

  18. A: The main question would be how they recorded their session, and what are their references?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Even though I'm venturing into this platform, I enjoy working in a professional manner and meeting deadlines and agreements. My work always aims to achieve customer satisfaction, and I also strive for the client to provide the best possible material to work with, in order to deliver a high-quality product.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: I would carry with me a flint for making fire, a guitar, a bottle, an axe, some rope, and a satellite phone.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I've been dedicated to music production within my country for about a year, aiming to establish an international presence as one of the top producers and mixing/mastering engineers, as well as a composer and soundtrack producer. This is one of the reasons why I've ventured into this web platform – to gain experience, clients, and a wealth of learning opportunities.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: My style is somewhat modern, but I always like to incorporate elements of classical or symphonic music in musical terms.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I would love to work with Nightwish and Ed Sheeran. I believe their songs are highly creative and encompass a wealth of elements from which one can learn

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: What I consider most important in any song is that the composition is flawless, followed by capturing the best recording possible. The best mixing tip is to establish a solid gain structure. It's better to remove elements that don't contribute than to try adding things that aren't present in either the composition or the song's recording

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Primarily in rock and pop music and their derivatives, as well as in soundtracks

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: My strongest skill in production, particularly in terms of mixing. On a personal level, I possess the skills of being resourceful, adaptable, self-taught, and creative. All of these qualities are geared towards ensuring customer satisfaction

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I provide a song with either power or intimacy, along with a creative vision, and if necessary, arrangements to make it stand out even more.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: First, I establish the client's desired sound and references through a meeting. Next, I review the audio tracks or stems that the client has provided. If necessary, I suggest new takes or recordings for specific tracks. After this process, we determine the gain structure and proceed with mixing based on the references. Once the mix is complete, the client is notified, and another meeting is scheduled for them to review the results. Upon approval, we move on to mastering and schedule a final meeting to ensure the client's complete satisfaction.
