John Mark has over a decade of experience creating, collaborating, and performing. He spent over five years writing, producing, and touring works under his own name, and now uses that experience and expertise to help shape the sound of other artists and writers. He spent the first half of his career contributing to the thriving Minneapolis music community, and recently moved to Los Angeles, after he was invited to work alongside acclaimed songwriter and producer Dan Wilson (Adele, Leon Bridges, John Legend).

John is the most fantastic producer I've come to work with, the results he produced absolutely surpassed my expectations. He has a brilliant taste in arrangement and sound engineering, his skills, knowledge and experience let him create astonishing results. John Mark is my favorite producer I have worked with. He cares for the songs you bring to him as if they are his own. He creates a space that makes you feel like what you have to offer is valuable. His patience and kindness make him so easy and enjoyable to work with. He has an incredible ear for arrangement, whether it's chord structure or sounds or melodies. He is understated and invitational in his approach to co-creating, and his process is flexible and accessible.
