Danny Hallen is a 19-year-old modern songwriter from the West Midlands. Based in Stourport, Danny takes influence from Billie Eilish, Tate McRae and Griff. His ability to perform and produce has gained the attention of BBC Hereford and Worcester; and has even gone onto claim artist of the week 4 times. Danny has also caught the eye BBC Radio 1.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Got about 7 or 8 tracks on the go at one time..
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Anyone who is already creating and working on tracks with already established artists. Major Labels are recruiting small writers and producers more and more and giving them a chance to show what they can do.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, although I have access to both, I hear more and more tracks that sound analogue however are completely digital I have not heard visa vera. Analogue is amazing in its own respects but digital is taking over completely and can often mimic analogue mixes to the "T"
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Meeting new artists and producers!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Q. How long does it take you to write a song, start to finish? A. Personally, It does vary song to song, some songs will take 2 weeks and some songs may take 2 years.

A: How do you want people to feel when they listen to this song?
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: take your damn time with EVERYTHING
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Sometimes just a laptop and headphones, other times an industry standard studio at home or at uni!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Griff and Sody both inspire me vocally and lyrically and I think they're so amazing!!

A: Mainly songwriting and top lining for producers!
