Session guitarist

Andre Cailliet on SoundBetter

I record from home using logic. Solos, rhythm, acoustic, etc. genres I play include: Metal, rock, pop, country, jazz, RnB, fusion, and progressive music. I have a electronic project called Rave Llama, and I’d be happy to help you out with your guitar needs!

I live in Nashville, Tennessee and am a live and studio guitarist. The main band I’m in is a pop cover band, Nick Vallese and the Misfit Toys. I also have played with Sarina Joi, Joca Stone, Michelle De LaRosa amongst a lot of fill in gigs. I was a member of the Wisconsin black metal band, Warseid, and played on their EP, “Where Fate Lies Unbound”. I’m a fan of all music; life is just too vast to just listen to one style.

I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

  2. A: Guitar tracking, whether it be lead, rhythm or solos

  3. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  4. A: Allan Holdsworth, Shawn Lane, Buckethead, Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Scott Henderson, Eric Johnson, Eddie Van Halen, John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter. Too many to list

  5. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  6. A: I use Logic ProX. I usually record direct from my amp into my interface unless I need a specific sound that only an amp plugin can provide

  7. Q: What's your typical work process?

  8. A: Once I dial in a good tone, I record until I end up with a clean take. Then, I might overdub tracks if need be.

  9. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  10. A: Depends on the context. I enjoy a lot of ambient clean guitar tones, but I also really like rocking tones as well. I also play a lot of extended harmony, so, not to sound arrogant, I’d say I bring interesting chords along with a rock edge

  11. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  12. A: I don’t know if this is considered as a skill, but, I try to serve the song to the best of my abilities

  13. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  14. A: Metal, rock, Latin, electronic, jazz fusion, RnB
