Sound engineer based in Manchester UK. Originally from Athens, Greece. Owner of a Bachelor degree in the Science of Sound Engineering. Working actively since 2007 as a freelancer live or studio sound engineer.
I've worked with many artists, most of them live. I believe that sound engineers should work with any artist (under any occasion) in the best possible way. That's why I tend to maintain my professionalism but also add a more personal feeling in my artist-sound engineer relation. Anyone has to feel cozy and familiar with a new partner, and especially when that is the key to bring out the greatest potential!
So, for anything you need remember to ask freely!
Also a list of some live console brands and models I have used on live gigs or in a studio: MIDAS (Heritage 3000), SoundCraft (GB2), Allen & Heath (GL2200, GL2400, ZED436), Yamaha (M7CL48, LS9, 01V96), Mackie (8 Bus), Dynacord (PowerMate 1000), and many more, I can't really recall at the moment.

Endorse Nikos PavlouNever come across anybody with such an extensive knowledge of sound. If you get the opportunity to work with Nikos then take it as it will only improve what you are doing and take you to that next level. Nikos has toured with by band previously and is consistent at delivering the same high level of sound if multi venue capacities.
A phenomenon brain smooth and slicky , did a superb and fast job while i was at his studio recording and shooting about a cover of mine on youtube , tottal control of his studio machines and programms !

I recorded the music for the theatrical play I directed in February at Nikos' studio. He is absolutely professional, eager to find solutions to the problems you meet and I am absolutely satisfied from the final project.Considering the difficulty of the organs (greek traditional music),he showed great comfort in handling different sounds.Thanx, man !!
Upside Down entered the studio for the first time to make their demo recording section with Nikos Paulou at Porcupine Studios and we can assure you that the result of the whole session was EXCELENT.Perfect sounding, mixed and edited as we thought it would be our material is now done by Mr.Nikos and we are very thankful for everything.
We are working with Nikos for about a year, and he is our sound engineer in our live gigs. We are completely satisfied and we trust him 1000%. He is doing a great job with our live and monitoring sound. And he is also a great guy. Work with him if you want to get proper services for your music.
