First, Luciano is a great talent. He took the time to listen to my request and crafted a piano piece that fit perfectly. I also really enjoyed the small but notable personal stylistic choices he made. It really added a lot to the depth. I will be working with him again!

Luciano A. arranged the music for a number of songs I wrote. He recorded the result. Luciano immerses himself in the core of each piece of music. He has great craftsmanship.
His dedication is enormous. Luciano works with heart and soul. A song consists of a melody and a text. A song is also sung. When you turn a melody into a piece of music, you have to compensate for what is lost. Luciano wants to know what the song is about. He prefers to read the text. In this way he manages to make a beautiful result. I think it's important to rely on Luciano's talent. I appreciate Luciano very much!!!!

I have worked with Luciano on a coupl of assignments, believe me his technique and style of piano are breath-taking. You would know this for a person who has a wooden grand piano at his home. He is so passionate about his music he even teaches it. If you take his services you are basically taking up services from someone who is extremely passionate about his music. He has the magic to produce the music the way you want it. He can completely carve out the exact tone&tunes the way you want and without wasting your time. Try him once and believe me you will fall in love with his work.

Interview with Luciano Andres Ledesma

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: At the moment, I’m deep in the recording process of Ignacio Constant’s upcoming album. It’s an exciting project, and I’m fully immersed in bringing the music to life, making sure every note resonates with the emotion behind it. It’s a real privilege to work on such a meaningful project.

  3. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  4. A: Analog or digital? It's not about choosing, it's about knowing what you need to get where you want. In the end, what's important is the result, not the path.

  5. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  6. A: My promise is that I'll work with all my effort to achieve the best result, but I guarantee that the process will be so smooth and natural that you won't even notice I'm working. Because when what I do is my passion, work turns into pure enjoyment, and the last thing you'll feel is that I'm ‘working’.

  7. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  8. A: What I like most about my job is that it’s never the same. Every day is a challenge, every song has its own heartbeat. My ‘favorite’ keeps changing, because the magic is in the constant evolution, not in a final destination.

  9. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  10. A: In the end, questions always have a personal touch. Each project has its own essence, and my job is to adapt to it, without needing to box in an answer that works for everyone.

  11. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  12. A: The biggest misconception? That making music is just about having the latest gear or knowing all the technical stuff. People think it’s like following a recipe, but it’s more like cooking without a recipe – you need the right ingredients, sure, but it’s the creativity and vibe that turn a dish into something worth tasting. The real magic is in understanding the artist's vision and turning it into something that speaks to others. It’s not just about hitting the right notes, it’s about hitting the right feels.

  13. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  14. A: My advice would be to be clear about the vision you have for your project, but also remain open to collaboration. Trust is key in any creative process, and it’s important to communicate your needs while allowing room for creativity. Working with someone who can bring fresh ideas to the table can elevate the project in ways you might not have imagined. Ultimately, a good collaboration is one where both sides feel inspired and excited by the outcome.

  15. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  16. A: My career path has been a journey of constant evolution. I started out as a session musician, diving into a variety of genres, and soon expanded into songwriting, arrangement, and composition. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in different facets of the music industry, from film and TV to theater, but my true passion lies in rock and pop. I’ve been honing my craft for over a decade now, and what excites me most is the constant opportunity to push boundaries and collaborate with artists to create something new and powerful.

  17. Q: How would you describe your style?

  18. A: If I define it, I limit it.

  19. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  20. A: I would love to work with Labrinth because of his unique blend of genres and his innovative approach to production. He has an incredible ability to mix electronic, R&B, and orchestral elements in a way that creates something truly original. His sound is emotional and cinematic, and I believe I could learn a lot from collaborating with someone who pushes the boundaries of modern music while maintaining deep emotional resonance.

  21. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  22. A: When creating, the key is to work for a few hours and then take a step back. Working 24 hours straight on a song doesn’t help and can actually spoil it. Also, the brain gets tired.

  23. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  24. A: I’ve worked in film, theater, and TV music, but currently, I’m fully focused on rock and pop.

  25. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  26. A: My strongest skill is my ability to interpret others' ideas and transform them into music. At the same time, I can create my own vision from scratch simply by listening to a song. My strength lies in creative interpretation.

  27. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  28. A: "Essentially, I bring whatever the song needs—whether it's chords, melodies, structure, or instrumentation. However, if the song doesn't require anything more, I don't force it and step back.

  29. Q: What's your typical work process?

  30. A: When an artist contacts me, my first priority is to learn as much as possible about the project. I believe that communication—whether through words or ideas—is the key to achieving the best results. I also think it’s crucial, especially when working with a new client, to keep them updated on the project's progress. This way, we can have constructive feedback along the way, ensuring that we reach the desired outcome for both sides.

  31. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  32. A: Like most musicians, I have a deep admiration for The Beatles, and British rock has been a significant influence on me. However, my musical tastes are diverse, ranging from Chopin to Charly García, with a particular love for the works of Astor Piazzolla. My influences can be categorized into three main branches: Rock, classical music, and tango.

  33. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  34. A: Throughout my professional career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in various roles, including session player, topliner, arranger, and more. However, my favorite and most fulfilling role is composition. I love collaborating with artists to bring their musical visions to life, whether it’s creating a song from scratch or refining an existing sketch. I believe I have a knack for coming up with fresh and inspiring ideas that add value to the creative process.
