What's up! I am an electronic music producer/multi-instrumentalist based in Boston, MA. I have worked on a ton of projects (Redbull commercial campaign, official remixes, full album productions).
I specialize in Electronic, Ambient, and Hip-Hop/Rap, but have worked in many different genres, such as Rock, Pop, and Orchestral. I incorporate live instruments in my electronic music productions to preserve authenticity and "real feeling". By altering classic instruments (piano, guitar, ukulele, drums), I have created a unique sound that differentiates me from other producers in the same genre. I have also produced official remixes for popular artists such as Lucian, YUMI, and Jared Horgan.

Absolutely amazing to work with Chaz! His production was amazing and I loved being able to create with him! I pray I get to work again with him soon!
I have seen CHAZ develop over the past 5 years into an outstanding producer. He's a workhorse and puts everything he's got into every project. He's one of those genuinely talented, creative, and musical people that so many producers pretend to be.
I have worked with CHAZ for a few years now. Always a pleasure to work with. Incredibly timely and always has an amazing vision for his projects. From production, to remixes, to all of the other musical endeavors he has a hand in, CHAZ always delivers high quality work and is one of the brightest minds in any room he is working in.
Chaz is an incredible musician, producer, and person. He is amazing to work with, and very flexible with hours and timing. In addition, he is very creative and likes to play around with unique sounds in a contemporary way. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a collaboration or help in creating a song!
Interview with CHAZ
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I recently finished producing a rap album for a friend of mine. I really believe I pushed the boundaries on every beat I wrote, and I think the whole album will be a hit!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I just finished my debut EP, and the first track comes out December 19th! After that, the rest of the tracks will be released once a week.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like the freedom. Deep down I've always known that sitting a desk typing in numbers was never what I wanted. I am blessed to be able to do what I do.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please reach out!!! I am very friendly and always want to work with new artists!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My computer (obviously), microphone, Apollo interface, guitar, and midi keyboard. I feel like those are the basic essentials needed for me to produce a track.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I went to college for a year and eventually decided that it wasn't right for me. Ever since I left I dedicated my time to learning music and mastering Ableton.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I believe I can bring a unique sound to a song. I love making sounds that have never been heard before, and taking live instruments and making them original.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio set up is simple. I work in Ableton Live and use Serum, Kontakt, Komplete, Maschine, Reaktor, and a few more plug-ins. I have the Komplete Kontrol M32 Keyboard, Ableton Push 2, Roland Fantom G8 synthesizer, and the Alesis drumpad. But my most recent purchase is the Roli SeaBlock.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: This answer changes somewhat often, but right now the musician who inspires me the most is Ford. He has such a unique sound and was just nominated for a Grammy in the remix category.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Production. I love writing music, and I'm writing constantly. I have over 300 ideas saved on my computer and I can't wait to use all of them!
