Mixing and Mastering Engineer

Collaboration with singer/songwriters is my specialty. I can take a stripped down vocal and guitar/piano recording and turn it into a fully produced, broadcast ready song that sounds like was produced by a major label at a world class recording studio. Your songs are a gift to the world and deserve every bit of my attention to detail.

I have over 20 years experience recording, mixing, and mastering for indie artists as well as producing music for TV, film and commercials. My clients say I am great to work with...I think that is because I truly enjoy working with people to bring music into the world.

My approach is simple. I listen to your song...really closely. I find the core emotion - love, sadness, fear, anger, joy, excitement - and then work hard to mix that emotion in throughout the song.

Sometimes that simply means adding sonic elements such as a dark reverb with a tail that dissolves at just the right moment. But other times that may mean adding a simple piano track to the guitar chord progression of a sad song. Or it may mean adding some additional percussion elements to keep things moving along a joyous or exciting song. A heavy distorted guitar or synthesizer part may be just the ticket to make the chorus really shine in an angry song.

When needed, I fill the gaps to keep the listener captivated and engaged throughout the song. I have a handful of world class musicians at my disposal to add any instrument necessary to keep the song moving in the right direction. Bass, drums, cello, strings, horns, background vocals, whatever it takes to make the song a standout.
