My name is Greggory Coleman Ellis, I'm a Producer/Writer/Engineer based out of Los Angeles, I also have my own artist project that goes by the name 'Col3man' which has garnered millions of streams with songs reaching full rotation on Sirius XM channels BPM and Venus as well as being featured in an article on Billboard.
I am a 23-year-old independent artist based out of Los Angeles. I started out my life as a classically trained concert pianist before getting into music production at the age of 16 as a dance artist. upon turning 18 I moved to LA and subsequently had my own music released on labels such as 'Spinnin Records', 'Armada', 'Robins', as well being featured in an article with Billboard and songs reaching full rotation on Sirius XM's channels BPM and Venus.
I've worked in hundreds of sessions as a producer, writer, and engineer for a wide variety of genres of music (Some my own, mostly though for other artists). My days are spent working in sessions with other writers/artists, producing and writing new music as well as recording, mixing, and mastering records.
My specialties with production are in dance, pop, and urban... but I vary outside of those genres often and love expanding what genres I work in.
I do a lot of work not only as just a mixing & mastering engineer but specifically as a vocal engineer. Vocal Engineering work I commonly do is vocal comping, tuning with Melodyne, manual Alignment and Alignment with Vocalyn (when and where it makes sense to use), and of course all the processing needed to get the desired outcome sonically for the vocal.
