I have an audio production degree from Full Sail University, with engineering and mixing credentials on projects for EmergenceNJ, a Christian church associated in the Acts 29 Network, just outside Manhattan.
I am a Guitarist, Keyboardist, and Drummer and I am willing to play on any projects. I'll happily work with you from start to finish to create and produce the sound you're looking for, within the realm of any genre. Singles, EP's, and full albums. I've got 5+ years experience performing and a couple years of in studio experience under my belt now. Honestly, I am looking for experience and practice, but with the knowledge and ear I have odds are you'll be getting an incredible deal by coming to me. I look forward to creating with you

Interview with Jordan Marotti
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm incredibly influenced by the likes of Sufjan Stevens, King's Kaleidoscope, Mutemath, Switchfoot, The National, Arcade Fire, Death Cab For Cutie, and Brian Eichelberger. To just name a few.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I record (engineering and playing) and mix.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My custom Deluxe Super Champ, My Godin 10th Ave Kingpin ii, My Walrus Audio Decent, My Bluebird Condenser, and My Saffire Pro 40. You can make dreams come true with that stuff! haha
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I'm in school for it currently, but Ive been simultaneously working, gigging, rigging, and mixing live events in the past year to make money.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Mix with your ears, not your head.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I love producing, and that is probably my strongest skill, but playing and mixing come in a really close second and third.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I found myself live mixing Shane & Shane recently, and that was a blast! But I'm still most proud of the Christmas record Emergence Church released two years ago. I helped engineer and track, and co-produced it along with a close mentor and friend of mine. It's my favorite project by far.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: You will receive a very well produced project, and enjoy working with me.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Seeing great art created and appreciated.
