Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I only sing gospel.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask for their brief for the vocal and plan for the track.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My monitors, laptop, mic and phone because voice memos is the best possible writing tool out there!

A: I've been working in music my whole life.

A: Powerful, gritty and old school.

A: I'd love to work with Gorgon City as I think their level and production and amazing. They also know really how to write a banger.

A: Collaborate.

A: Being adaptable and quick. I've also got a massive range.

A: My voice is very versatile, I'm used to working in many different styles and can adapt easily and quickly to the client's needs. I'm flexible so can often get a vocal stem back to the client the same day.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usualy get sent a piece of music and then within the day I'm able to lay down a lead line and whatever Backing Vocal is required.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have an Re20 Mic that I use which is great for Gospel Vocals and I tend to work in Logic.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm a big fan of Jess Glynn, Vula (Basement Jaxx) and producers such as Disclosure and Gorgon City. I love strong dance vocals over a clean beat.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mainly do topline vocals for dance music, DnB and house. I also do a lot of vocals and composing for online and television commercials.
