Interview with Brett Verlennich
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Summertime Dropouts last two albums, I was the main music songwriter and I'm very proud of how it turned out. Josh Stoll (you can find him on here also!) is one of the guitar players, and the Engineer on the album did a fantastic job also!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been working live and studio gigs for the past 10 or so years, I love my instrument, and I love songwriting. I really hope to expand my client base by working here!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Periphery If they were a pop band!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, Hard Rock, Metal and Pop, although I'd say my strongest area is Hard Rock or Metal
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually like to get in contact with the client and start with as many details as possible if we're writing a song, from there I usually do 1-3 demo tracks and with the client refine the song or part from there.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly do songwriting and session playing!
