Redah on SoundBetter

Record producer, songwriter, singer, and audio engineer based in Los Angeles, California. Composer/songwriter for the Universal Music Library. Vocal Production expert. Top 40 style producer, songwriter, and mix engineer. I would be happy to help to get your record sounding the way you imagined it, from your demo/original idea to the final mix.

I am a French/Moroccan music producer, songwriter, singer, and audio engineer based in Los Angeles, California. I write and produces in the WAX LTD Studios alongside the multi-platinum & award-winning producers Wally Gagel, and Xandy Barry.

I've developed my craft learning from, and collaborating with Grammy-winning producers, engineers, artists; and stood out especially with my vocal production skills on songs such as Elliphant's "To The End" that has been featured in Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse, which won the Best Animated Film award at the 76th annual Golden Globes as well as at The Oscars 2019.

I have worked for major artists signed to Universal, Warner, Sony BMG, Colombia, Interscope, Atlantic Records, and I'm still actively producing and writing in collaboration with songwriters and producers from Universal Music Publishing Group, Kobalt, APG , Prescription Songs, BMG etc.
I've improved my production vision and skills alongside Grammy-winning producers and engineers such as Prince Charles Alexander (Notorious B.I.G, Puff Daddy, Usher, Sting, Aretha Franklin), Sean Slade (Radiohead), John Whynot (Austin Powers), and had the opportunity to meet world famous producers, engineers, songwriters and artists.

Ultimately, I'm just a music lover that loves making good music!

Interview with Redah

  1. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  2. A: Find someone honest who cares about songs, and willing to help you improve yours, not someone who'll tell you it's great to wrap it up as quickly as possible.

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: Don't think, feel.

  5. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  6. A: The compliments I get the most are regarding my vocal production which my clients describe as a very unique and pleasing experience with results exceeding their expectations.

  7. Q: What's your typical work process?

  8. A: Getting to know the client and his vision first, making a great human connection before creating as it is for me the most important thing to be passionate about a project and get the most out of it!

  9. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  10. A: Quiet a few but on top of my head I'd say John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, Chris Martin, Ian Kirkpatrick, Quincy Jones, Rick Rubin, Max Martin.

  11. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  12. A: 1) Vocal Production (Vocal coaching, recording, comping & mixing) 2) Record Production (From your voice memo demo to a polished radio ready record) 3) Composition/ Beat making (creating on demand songs and beats) 4) Mixing Records (Finalizing your songs from the recorded project the final mix to be sent to mastering)
