Analog or digital and why?
it depends on the project. To me a good analog recording followed by a digital in-the-box mixing is enough for small producions and semi-pro arrangement...
What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
that a semi-pro can produce a really good sounding mix. Not all people are able to combine musical elements into a good sounding mix I think.
What questions do you ask prospective clients?
to provide me with ALL info I need to bring key messages into music . It's never matter of technology. It's always a matter of feeling !
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
good quality/price ratio. I am a semi-pro . Seriously.
If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
a guitar and a tube amp.other I don't need!
How would you describe your style?
Can you share one music production tip?
separate instruments freq range to glue entire song/mixing...less is better. Dynamic range war is somthing I don't like
What's your strongest skill?
good ears and musical passion
What do you bring to a song?
passion and experience
What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
'60s, '70s , blues, pink floyd's, genesis, led zeppelin...
Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
small productions mixed in-the-box, guitar solos, small rock-pop arrangments , etc.
