The band I manage, Eli Young Band, has hired Reid for several projects over the years. Most recently he mixed a version of the single "Saltwater Gospel" featuring Jimmy Buffett. The mix sounded fantastic, and his entire team was extremely easy to work with. He has an incredible talent for integrating the artist's wishes for mixing as well as bringing his own fresh ear to the project. I would 100% recommend working with Reid!

I have had the pleasure of hiring F. Reid Shippen to mix the songs "Pretty Paper" and "Leave Me Alone" by Tyler Braden. Not only are his mixes radio-ready, Reid turns around mixes quickly and with little need for revisions. He really takes the time to listen to the artist’s needs on the front end and is also really receptive to small changes and feedback throughout the mixing process. It's always a pleasure to work with him.

Reid has always been amazing. I have worked with him on several projects for multiple clients. He is always very timely and his mixes are some of the best in the business. He is also really good at working with artists directly should you chose to go that route. I am a fan and will continue to do work with him moving forward.

Reid was the mix engineer for Tyler Braden's cover of Pretty Paper. I assisted with some of the recording logistics, which is how I came to hear his mixing work, and I think it sounds great (I am listening as I type). F. Reid Shippen has mixed several projects that I have produced including Hollywood Gold by Parker McCollum and The Mountain by Dierks Bentley. He's got a fabulous ear, understands every aspect of the world of sound, and knows exactly what a song calls for (or doesn't). Furthermore, he's a great guy and great friend who truly cares about his artists and their teams. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to make a professional and memorable record.
