Stacked Vocal background harmonies in the style of the Beach Boys, Beatles and CSNY. I have more layered harmonies on my cover of "California Dreamin" by the Mommas and the Poppas.
I have been writing and performing music for many years. I'm passionate about singing, arranging and producing vocal harmonies into your mix.

Interview with Robert Orzechowski
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: There were two projects actually. One was a cover version for California Dreamin and Never My Love. Both came out better than the originals (in my opinion).
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on my second album.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: No
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I like both to get the best of both worlds.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To do my best efforts on your project. I will let you know if it does not pan out.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love creating music!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Not a lot of questions so far.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I cannot make the project better than your idea for the song.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What do you hope to accomplish with the finished project? Are you open to interpretations to the project?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be clear about what you want. Have a reference track that may have a similar vibe. With that, I can get an idea if it is in my wheelhouse.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Piano, guitar, DAW, mic and speakers!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Old-fashioned pop songs with ideas and less technological flair.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with John Oates of Hall and Oates because of his smooth voice.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Avoiding shortcuts and adding a perfectionist streak can go a long way to get your tracks where they need to be.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mostly pop, folk and indie with sometimes a retro feel.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Adding background harmonies and then mixing, producing them into the song.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: With my harmonies, I can bring lush fullness, haunting echoes or just upbeat happiness that a choir can bring.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to listen to the track I am working on to get a feel for where background vocals can fit in if they do.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have Cubase 12 with Wavelab for mastering. Rodes NTK condensed Microphone.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Fleetwood Mac, CSNY.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I can write, produce, mix and master. I find great enjoyment in putting together background harmonies to fill out the song.
