My goal with all of it is to make things that means something to the people experiencing them. I've been writing songs since I was a teenager and I still get excited about a good one. My main genres are pop, folk, and singer/songwriter, and the artists who stand out most to me are Paul Simon, John Mayer, and Noah Kahan.
Songwriting: I've written for touring country and pop artists including Ben Lapidus, Charles Esten, and Sean Grandillo. I've also been a songwriter at Music Therapy of the Rockies retreats in Nashville and Maryland, co-writing with veterans living with PTSD, so I'm very comfortable working with people who have never written a song before. Happy to write the whole song, just the lyrics, or just the melody. Winner of the American Songwriter Lyric Writing Contest and the Bernard/Ebb Songwriting Competition.
Vocals: I've sung on lots of sessions and demos, and was on season 10 of NBC's The Voice, top 11 on Adam Levine's team.
Bass/guitar: I've performed with artists from Running Lights to Liz Longley to Emmylou Harris, played warped tour, and played bass and guitar in the Off-Broadway musical Only Human.
Scoring: In-house composer for Storied Skateboarding on YouTube, 670+ episode slate. Best Original Score at IndieX Film Festival, placements on Fox, CW, Netflix, and MTV.
