Hi! I’m a classically trained composer and pianist with over 15 years experience playing piano and producing music. It’s my goal to provide you with modern piano, synth pads and strings, backed by timeless principles that undergird Western music.

In addition to creating contemporary backing tracks, I’ve also produced ambient piano and synth music for licensing, which have been used around the world. I’ve also had the opportunity to compose music for two documentaries, which I deeply enjoyed.

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, out of necessity :)
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Helping to bring others’ musical visions to life, to bring something into existence that did not previously exist.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A notepad and paper!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Piano, and a relentless attention to detail.

A: Thoughtful, crafted, supporting elements such as strings, pads, or piano.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Sketching on a piece of staff paper is a must to work on the kinks in advance, and to achieve the highest-quality end result.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: In the box, Logic, and typically Reason for synths and pads, along with Spitfire and Fracture Sounds for orchestral and piano.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Tony Anderson, for the emotional depth and space in his music.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I produce cinematic, ambient soundscapes that aim to be simple and yet profound, and create a sense of space.
