Interview with Alexei Galar

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Ventana Amarilla. I composed original music and did sounds design for a 3 act theatre play that premiered on September 30th 2021. I am proud of successfully directing a whole team of musicians, engineers and composers, to the satisfaction of both the director and producer of the show.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: A project involving spatial-generative music, and food. Yes, food.

  5. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  6. A: You will be surprised. And many times.

  7. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  8. A: The opportunity to work with different artist, with different backgrounds, and grow together.

  16. A: Being diverse. Music for media has given me the opportunity to work in a wide range of productions, from psychedelic theatre, to punk albums. Hence, I can bring innovation to the table, and expertise in trying unconventional paths.

  18. A: Ludwig Göransson, Kevin Parker, Johnny Greenwood. These artist transcend what is music for any type of media.
