My name is Morgane aka Millie Mogo, I am a French singer-songwriter based in Paris. I have two main projects : "Jack Lena", a post-folk ambient band and "Dormeur" a dark electro-pop music band. I'm also a live artist, and we had the pleasure to open up for artists such as : Madison Cunningham, La Maison Tellier and Arthur H (Next year).
I sing, I play the guitar, Lyra, and I compose on my computer. I was truly inspired by artists like Aurora, Kalandra, Dido, London Grammar, Lana Del Rey, and I absolutely adore music style such as Schoegaze (slowdive), Celtic Music, and post-folk music (Wardruna).

Interview with Morgana
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My second album with my project Jack Lena. We're also working on creating a new live and recruiting a new musician. We are working on several tracks with my project Dormeur. I'm also very interested with working with artists and knowing more about the "musical landscape" in France.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Being able to create something together, discovering new music styles.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Can you do the mixing and mastering ? My answer is no for the moment, but i’m learning how to do it.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please, do not contact me if the music style is not written on my Bio. I know it can sounds frustrating, but I'm looking for working on folk music, post- rock, Celtic music... I had several experiences and I'm very grateful for that, but I feel more inspired with those music style.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My lyra. It's enough.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would be thrilled to work with RY X. He's such an inspiration, I love his productions, and the "intimacy" he creates with the auditor in his music. It's very emotional and authentic to me. It's something at the same time free and touchable by the closeness created.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Post-folk, folk, post-rock, schoegaze, EDM, trance music... cinematic music (my favorite one).
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: As I'm inspired by ethereal, ambient music, I think it's important for me to bring something oniric, uncanny, dreamy about a song through the vocals, the choirs...
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work with a MacBook Pro, an Apollo Twin and 2 microphones (antelope Duo Edge/ Aston Origin).
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by artists such as Aurora, London Grammar, Jeff Buckley, RY X, Slowdive...
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I’ve been doing collaborations for 2 years. I have a lot of things to learn and working with people all around the world is a beautiful opportunity to learn more and more.
