Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: Collab with Nicky Romero. amazing sounding studio's which is really inspiring! Also Nick and Protocol recordings did a great job.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: My own music, but also working on other people their creations.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: noy yet.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: both, digital works faster, but some sounds do sound better analog.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: getting the highest quality possible.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: it doesn't feel like a job, it's working with music!

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Feedback on their songs before letting it mixed. So give them feedback.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: I think my profile is really clear about what I do. I haven't received any other requests other then mixing/mastering/co-producing house/progressive songs.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: To send me a reference track and a list how to export everything properly.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Look for someone that's matching your style.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: laptop, speakers, headphone, mic, snacks.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I've graduated at the Herman Brood Academy in Utrecht, the Netherlands. I've also worked with many artists like Nicky Romero and their artists on Protocol Recordings.

A: Melodic, dreamy and emotional.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Joris Voorn, his mixes are so unique!

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: A/B your mix with one of your favorite mixes, Mastering The Mix plugin is really great for this!

A: house, melodic house, progressive house.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: mixing.

A: Attention to detail, every element needs to be placed very carefully in the mix so you get the best end result.
