The Richest Waves is a producer, writer, artist duo that will help you take your sound from idea to final master. Comprised of Producer/Drummer/Keyboard player Kent Narrows and Vocalist/Guitarist/Bassist Pace The Maker, we will make your sound unique and get you to the finish line.
We find out your goals, listen to your ideas, and create a plan that is easy to follow and will produce songs you're proud of. We are a one stop solution. We have played live, tracked/produced/written our own music, composed for film/tv, played as session players, and built a team of solid pros to produce a final sound unique to your vision. Need a genre bending riff on guitar, cool! Need an entire sound/vibe to be created and go with your vocals, great! Need drums or beats, we got you! We can help you start, finish, or ride the entire production from creation all the way through to mixing and mastering. Our sound samples say everything about us - we have worked in genre bending music for years; everything from funk to western to pop. Feel free to drop a line and ask any q's about our process, or to request a quote. Looking forward to creating together, and thanks for checking us out!

Interview with The Richest Waves
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To create something we're all proud of and will want to show people b/c we're all so stoked!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Helping shape sounds that blend with the goal and vision of our music or an artist's music we're working with. Creating sounds that create a feeling goes a long way.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Find someone who aligns with your vision and sound.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: We approach every project with the same excitement and enthusiasm that the artist who's hiring us brings. We believe in maintaining integrity and positive energy/movement through the production.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Good In, Good Out
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Most of our work could be classified as "pop-fill in genre". Pop-rock, Pop-funk, Pop-hip-hop, etc. There is almost always an element of catchy in our tunes.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Our strongest skill is to bring our genre blending backgrounds to the table; we've played in a variety of bands ranging from hip hop to heavy rock to funk to soundtracks. We genuinely love creating music.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Align with an artist's goals and vision first. After that, we create a workflow and budget that we follow through the process, adjusting for revisions as the creativity expands and contracts naturally during the production process. Once the vision is solidified, the ideas get laid down pretty fast.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: We use UA pres into Focusrite A/D, Waves/Native Instruments/Soundtoys/Logic inside the box, Tannoy monitors, DW and Roland Drums, AT, Shure, and AKG mics, Yamaha MO8/NI/M-Audio Keys/MIDI and Fender guitars/basses.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Just a few... Dan The Automator, Ludwig Göranssan, Pharrell, Rick Rubin, Prince, Max Martin, Lettuce, Borns, Jungle, Big Data, Broken Bells
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Producing through Concept to Completion, Writing, Session Instrumentation, and Soundtrack Composition
