Hey, My name is Murph. I go by the name YMTK (Young Murph the kidd). I'm originally from Oakland, CA but I've lived in Los Angles for the last 10 years or so. I was raised with an appreciation for all different types of good music. My mom has been a gospel singer since she was a young girl & she definitely passed the love for music down to me.
I've written with & for many major label artists as well as independent artists. Genre's ranging from pop/r&b to hip hop/crossover & edm. I have a studio and an incredibly dope engineer for all sessions. I'm an ok vocal engineer myself but not as fast as I'd like to be yet. Studio is located in Hollywood with all top of the line equipment. I have really good relationships with a lot of talented rising artists & producers from both the Bay Area & Los Angeles. I've worked on songs that have had success in both digital & radio markets whether it was writing the melody, lyrics, vocal production, or demo.
