I have worked with many producers in the Sydney EDM scene however I would love to be able to give my input to tracks from across the world. I take Inspiration from artists like Flume, San Holo, Hermitude, Louis The Kid, Vincent and many more.

Interview with Joshua Pauline (Joshwa)

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I am a Software Engineer full time and spend the majority of my free time working on music. I would love to eventually be able to go fulltime music production if I am able to support myself.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I think I bring an original aspect to songs as I love to sample my own sounds and use a lot of granular synth to create very unique atmospheres.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start with some chords using the Launchpad Pro on Notemode usually on Serum. I then use a Nektar Panorama P1 to modulate my chosen parameters to give the chords an organic feel. My work process comes with a great deal of experimentation of different sounds in the mix.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My Studio is not too crazy. I have 2 KRK Rokit 7 Monitors connected to a Presonus Studio 26c Interface. The headphone I user are BeyerDynamic DT 990 Pros. I use mainly a fender Telecaster for guitar in my tracks and also a Novation Launchpad Pro Mk3 to help with my creative process.

A: Flume and San Holo are my biggest inspirations
