Alan is a highly accomplished guitarist with over 25 years experience as an artist, singer, and songwriter. He has touring/recording credits with hundreds of artists including Multi-Platinum band Shinedown. He now works from his studio Hybrid Audio Solutions, offering full-production/song creation and development, Mixing, and Mastering services.

I've been playing guitar for most of my life, leading me to many great opportunities to work with mega talented musicians and artists of many genres and styles. I've put many years into being a pivotal member of the bands I've been a part of and taken every bit of my experience into the next musical journey.

Currently I work exclusively via my studio Hybrid Audio Solutions in Charleston, SC USA and create records with my co-producer and Engineer Scott Gould. We work with lots of developing artists to help sculpt and conceive their personal visions for their music, oftentimes providing not just our production skills and technical know-how, but also insight into the songwriting process and how to create masterful sounding, tasteful recordings from start to finish. With access to an incredible array of my favorite studio mics, pre's, Amps, guitars, Keyboards, and other toys, paired with our fully customized studio space and a talented roster of for-hire studio musicians, we are ready to make great records for any scale production. I also love to help raise the bar for other engineers and producers by offering top class mixing and mastering for those looking to add the finishing touches to your work. I went into Hybrid Audio with a guitar and a handful of songs and said I wanted to do an EP with a full band. They found incredible musicians to play on my tracks, helped me create lush guitar sounds with their different amps. They helped me flesh out the parts, including rewriting to make the songs even better. I asked them to help bring my vision to life and they took it to places I didn’t even know it could go. I have been blown away by this experience and I can’t wait to work with them again. You won’t find a better studio or a better group of guys in Charleston, that’s for sure!

Hello I'm a singer/songwriter from SC me and alan's journey started a little over two years ago we found each other thru the web and a mutual friend and songwriter Jamie Jamison we set up a meeting alan personally drove me to hybrid audio solutions and we started working on my first single "A Light Inside you" im visually impaired and cant drive I was super nervous but alan reassured me that everything would be fine alan helped me turn my solo acoustic arrangement into something truly amazing I would highly recommend him to any singer/songwriter he's professional kind and knowledgeable.

I recorded a song with Alan from start to finish and it's fantastic, truly. Alan is intuitive and hard-working. He makes it happen and genuinely cares about getting it just right for you! His studio has literally all the gear you would ever need, and the space itself is extremely inviting and cozy.
