Passionate about helping YOUR music sound the best it possibly can! No A-list credits here yet. Only my promise to dedicate everything I've got to the process. I grew up playing instruments - otherwise self-taught since ten years. Not afraid to try out unusual sounds if it feels right for your music.
So, I'm not that big shot producer you hire for 500 $ a day. As I said, you won't know any of my credits (listen to them anyway)!
But that also means I still CARE. I'm not gonna just 'do a good job' and call it a day.
First, we are going to look for a sound that's unique & fitting to your music.
Then we're gonna GO for it until we've achieved that sound in your head.
I'm a musician myself, so I know how important it is to get every detail just right.
Doesn't matter if you've got a finished mix, an unmixed multitrack or just a rough demo - just hit the contact button and let's get to work!
Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.
Interview with DerLuebbi
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Grew up playing classical music (piano & violin). Puberty hit hard, dropped everything and started playing drums and bass, eventually guitar followed. Started numerous bands. Got a degree in playing and teaching (Jazz) drums. During that time I discovered my love for music production & synthesizers. Been making music and creating sounds ever since.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Saturation & distortion is awesome.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Usually I'm able to get a vision for the project pretty quickly. Which is (in my opinion) one of the most important things when creating art.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Dedication; my experience with and passion for music.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Got lots of respect for obviously great producers like Eric Valentine, Rich Costey etc. Also I'm a big fan of more recent, experimental stuff like brakence, Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) or FINNEAS.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of the time I'm taking care of producing & mixing a song. But I'm also always happy to just get a raw multitrack or mix and taking care of finishing the product.
