Tom Venable has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Performance and Education from:

I started playing drums professionally at the age of 12.
I've studied the Drums with Peter Erskine and got to play for Jaco Pastorius.
At 15 I was playing with members of the New York Tonight Show Band, Count Basie Band, Frank Sinatra Band and The Buddy Rich Big Band. Since then I have worked with Musicians who played with Janis Joplin, Ten Wheel Drive, Blood Sweat and Tears and Badfinger,
Among his friends include legendary Hit Men:Bernard Purdie and Kenny Aronoff.

I am a member of Local 802 (NYC) American Federation of Musicians and am actively working in the NY metro area specializing in studio, show and live performance.
