Supacold on SoundBetter

Hello, I am an 18 year old swedish singer and songwriter studying in NYC. I have made songs with top artists such as Regard (Me & I) ft(Sarah Abad), worked for Amazon in the production of videos among other things. I seek to collaborate with people and make new styles and synergies in the community.

I have written songs with musicians all around the world and experimented different genres. I have specialised in Commercial Music. My Spanish and sweedish origins took me to focus on Latin/Urban styles, Pop and EDM. However I love queasy 80s music. I would love to work with you on your next project!

Send me an email through 'Contact' button above and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Interview with Supacold

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: When I worked with the noted DJ Regard and Sarah Abad on a song. My role was to make the vocals of the song Me & I. I had a good time working on those because the music and the voice had to match perfectly and working towards that objective was a challenge.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am starting my own business on smart clothes. Besides studying music I am very into tech.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: I would recommend working with a vocalist called Sarah Abad. I have done a few projects with her and it is fenomenal.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: I prefer digital for a simple reason. Efficiency. New digital technologies keep coming up and because of that I believe there's a greater opportunity to push boundaries.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I promise to deliver QUALITY work to my clients. And I don't only mean quality from a technical point of view. I mean it creatively, communicatively and emotionally.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: The fact that I get to work with people who despite having different backgrounds, all have one thing in common: Music. Therefore, in a sense what I like is creating musical synergies.

  13. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  14. A: Taking into consideration that the island might not have data connection: 1. A guide called "How to survive in a desert island". 2. A small sun power generator. 3. A Phone/Radio system 4. Warm Clothes. 5. A Knife Than I would probably take a boat, loads of food, and loads of water. (It said just 5 pieces of gear, nothing about non-gear utensils)

  15. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  16. A: I produced my first song made from loops when I was probably 5 years old.

  17. Q: How would you describe your style?

  18. A: My own.

  19. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  20. A: I would love to work with DJ Jazzy Jazz.

  21. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  22. A: Don't think you're limited by your gear.

  23. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  24. A: Pop, EDM and Classic.

  25. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  26. A: Probably singing and producing.

  27. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  28. A: When I came to my new apartment I decided not to have a room but a studio. So my room has been setup to be a studio. Here I record plenty of singers and carry most of my projects. I run Logic Pro X on my iMac. I used to use FL Studio but, despite being an awesome program I think Logic Pro X offers me a greater level of creativity. I find it very inspiring to work where I live because as soon as I get an idea I can instantly portray it. My studio gear is also specified in the gear section.

  29. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  30. A: I most commonly produce and help in the creative process of a record. I believe that as a producer it is important to be present in the creative process because, being the one who knows the boundaries of what can be created I can seamlessly push them as well. Nowadays music is more diverse than it has ever been, that is why I believe that we should produce music in the most diverse of the ways available.

  • Quote of the day!Jun 09, 2020

Hey guys! Today I'd like to share a quote by a civilian of mine. Pablo Casals once said: "Music is the divine way to tell beautiful, poetic things to the heart"

How true is this! Whenever I am making use of my creativity I think of the millions of outcomes I could perform but from all of those only one comes to live. In a way the filter is my heart and emotions.
