Having taught songwriting and music production techniques at The BRIT School for Performing Arts for six years, I am very well placed to produce your music. I'm well rounded, with experience in producing a wide range of genres. Students of mine include Rex Orange County, Black Midi, Jade Bird and Raye.
I offer full editing, mixing and mastering services for any sized project. So whether you just need a master for a vocal/piano track or a full production job on an album, I have you covered. I work flexibly and to the requirements of you, the client. I am very used to using reference tracks in order to get the precise sound that you're after and will continue to work until I get the sound exactly the way you want it. No job is too big or too small; nothing is too 'out there'. I love to be challenged and to surpass clients' expectations.
I particularly love to work with guitar music. Anyone rocky really excites us. But that's just where my heart lies. I'm equally happy producing electronic sounds. Ultimately, I want to help you make great music.

Interview with Pick Up Goliath
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Typically, the client will deliver the stems of their project to me along with a demo mix and reference tracks. I'll then work on this and send them back a mix for comments/amendments to be made. Once the mix is nailed down I'll provide the master. All my processes are completed in consultation with the client.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work out of my stunning recording studio, Mammoth Sound Studio. I have a nice selection of analog outboard equipment that can be utilized during tracking or mixdown. I work through HEDD monitors for both stereo and Atmos mixing. In the box, I have all the professional plugins you could imagine from the likes of Universal Audio, Fab Filter, Slate Digital, etc.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: For me, digital. The digital emulations these days are amazing. And the real beauty is I can stick my licenses on my iLok or in the cloud and take them with me wherever I work. Analog is a real luxury, but it's damn expensive, and takes up A LOT of room!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise I will do my absolute best to deliver exactly what you want. My primary goal is to make you as happy as I possibly can. Whilst you're working with me I want to make you feel like you're the only thing in the world that matters.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Ensure that you've established a positive line of communication before committing to working. Make sure you know exactly what it is you're getting within your service, and ensure that your producer understands exactly what you want out of it.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work on a wide range of things. From EDM to singer/songwriter, from pop to hard rock and metal, from classical to jazz, I've produced it all. This is the way I like it! I love working on a diverse range of projects.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring 20+ years of diverse musical education, a wealth of knowledge both in the songwriting and the production worlds, and a genuine passion to get the very best out of your music.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I often to editing, mixing and mastering for clients. I produce a lot of educational content on my socials, and people find me through this and then want me to produce their tracks. So often I'm working with home recordings, doing my very best with them to make them sound pro.
