You put all your creativity and soul into your music, now you want your vision to come real. Let me help you. Whether it's rock, metal, pop or hip-hop, I'll put all myself into your project to help you get 'that' sound you wish for.
You want your vision to be understood and get all the emotion, vibe and dynamics with the sound of pro artists.
With the years I learned what it takes to make your music sound and feel great and I am here to help artists have their music sound just as they imagined it.
I am Andrea Lenoci, mix and master engineer with 10 years of experience and my goal is to make your music sound pro and unique, creating your personal recognizable sound and elevating the emotion of your music in every single step of the process.
My style is focused on enhancing all the nuances, details, contrasts and ultimately on bringing life to the mix with methods I've perfectioned along the way.
I work on an hybrid setup, granting the dimension and vibe of the analog world together with the control and efficiency of the digital.

Andrea is awesome. Did an exceptional job mixing and mastering my song. He addressed all my notes, even the tiny, nit-picky changes, with consummate professionalism. He was totally game for changing any aspect of the mix and making sure the final version met my vision for the song. Top-notch!

He was great, very communicative, when I had a problem he fixed it. I had a very specific image in my mind, and after a couple revisions he was willing to do another and make my vision realized. Would 100% recommend.

Andrea works focused, though the atmosphere working with him is relaxed. He involved me in the process by sending several demos of the current state of the mix. Great, natural sounding result!

Andrea did a good job, as always. Was able to integrate feedback as well as his own ideas into the result.

My second time working with Andrea, and he once again did a great job! Adapted well to feedback and ended up with a great result.

I had a very specific vision for my death metal project and gave Andrea some poor quality raw/rough recordings for mixing & mastering. From the very beginning, he was extremely enthusiastic and receptive to all my ideas and suggestions, and remained very kind, patient, and flexible throughout the duration of the project. On top of that, he provided plentiful useful feedback that ultimately led to a solid production for a fair price.

Andrea does more than you could imagine. I had terrible source tracks for this project, but Andrea made a great sound of this crap. The result is insane.

Great contact and involvenment in the project

Did I tell you about Andrea's flexibility? For the first time, he made a magical sound for my sludge/doom project. And now he has created some magic for a hip-hop project. You can come to Andrea with any musical style, he will still put his soul (and skills) into it.

Andrea over-delivered throughout the production process, making the result better than I could have imagined. He gave advice during the recording, fixed a lot of sound issues in the files he received and worked iteratively to find a sound I was happy with. He was attentive to feedback, but also had great ideas of his own that raised the quality of the album. I very highly recommend his services. Thank you so much, Andrea!
Interview with Andrea Lenoci
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started playing guitar when I was 9. Than I learned to play some piano, saxophone and drums. I sgtarted recording for my band almost 15 years ago and got better and better from there. Studied and learned a lot along the way and slowly builded my studio as is now.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Get your recordings as good and 'final' as you can. Have good performance. Monitor in headphones if you don't have good monitors/room. Performance is the key, emotion is the door. Recording and mixing skills will open that door.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I love working on heavy and soft genres, I am specialized on rock, pop and metal but have recorded and mixed hip-hop, jazz, reggae.. you name it.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Being open to inputs and feedbacks and having good ears coupled to good tools.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I elevate the emotion and feel in the song. That's everything about music, that's what make us dance, move and love it. I do my best to get into the listener's ears and heart with all the sensations and emotions intendended by the artist, and make the song sound and feel amazing.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to talk about the project with the artists, know what it means for them, the mood, the ideas. Than I start 'playing my game'. I like to experiment with effects when needed or to add that aggressive grit to a specific sound. I have a special attention to details and sound quality and I do my best to create transporting, vibe-y songs.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I monitor in a treated control room and use hi-end headphones for high translation fidelity. I use an hybrid setup composed of a Midas analog desk coupled to custom and hot-rodded outboards. I oftenly mix outdoor on my laptop for inspiration, to get the mix back in studio for the 'final touches'.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Analog because you take the vibe from that. Digital can't do that. Full stop. BUT it's great for control, accuracy and 'cleanness'. You need both in the modern world.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Satisfaction. I work on their songs until they're 100% satisfied with the result. Nad I don't like a 'hum, yeah it sounds good. ok'. I want a 'damn dude, it sounds amazing! yayy'!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Emotion-oriented. Every decision I make, every knob I touch and each click on a plug-in are determined by emotion. You can make something sound 'correct' and 'balanced', that's fine. I like to add groove, movement and emotion on that.
