Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My latest release Fundido was a very fun project to work on where I wrote and engineered all the songs and got to have fun in the studio.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently I released an ep and I have also been mixing a couple of projects for the artist I work with.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I love Kristal Oliver's songwriting and her discography speaks for itself.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog to digital to keep the weight, depth and clarity of analog equipment and the portability and accuracy of modern equipment.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To give every customer their best song possible in a timely manner.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The process of turning raw tracks into a finished song.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: The most frequent questions I get are about my most recent work , turn around time, and price.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The misconception I see the most is the difference between a producer and an engineer where a producer makes beats or writes songs a engineer records and/or edits audio.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask what sound their going for, deadline, and is it a fully tracked out song.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: The best advice I have is to be as descriptive as possible with your goals for overall sound and your target release date.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: 1.Neumann U87, 2.Macbook Pro, 3.Revive Audio modified DBX 760x preamp, 4.modified Focusrite 18i20 interface, and a 5.Isovox vocal booth.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started making music in 2015 using FL Studio to make beats and record songs. Eventually I landed a intern at a local rap studio and worked as a session recording engineer before starting K.I.S.S. studios.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Song full of clarity and depth.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: As one of the most accomplished musicians in history I think Drake is a no brainer: secondary choice is Kanye/ Pharell.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: The quality of sound can stop someone from finishing a song so I always prioritize that and the structure of the song.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I mostly on Rap/Hip Hop music with samples and 808s and live guitar.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My persistence has been my greatest asset in creating music.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: 5 years of Recording, Mixing,and Mastering experience, a network of Artists that specialize in Album artwork and Videographers in the Michigan area.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: After obtaining the audio files I begin mixing with the faders. After getting a good rough mix I move to eq and compression to get the song as close to done as possible after that I usually add reverb and delay and chorus effects to bring
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I mix in Reason 11 Suite using Native Plugins, Waves Gold bundle, Universal Audio plugins, Izotope Ozone mastering Suite and a Console 1 MKII Daw controller. My audio interface is a Universal Audio Apollo Twin and my mixing headphones of choice are the Shure SRH1840s.

A: I love Drake,Jay-Z, Kanye West, Travis Scott, Future, The Weeknd and Frank Ocean
