A: Both! It's all about flavours although analog can get you where digital can't in terms of mastering.

A: I started as graphic designer and have close to 20 years in music production and sound engineering

A: Tension and release, incorporate it well and track dynamics will be elevated to another level!

A: In the past it was mainly electronic music and techno, last couple of years I have worked on many industrial projects.

A: Always working on my Youtube channel 'Detroit-Berlin' and on 2 industrial albums for 'Darkvolt'

A: The magic of sculpting sound!

A: If I can master a track for free first. I try to stay polite.

A: I ask if they have a reference track.

A: Proper headroom gives me more room to work my magic and good straightforward communication is a must.

A: I mix and master on an SSL console and analog outboard gear.

A: Mastering is making the track louder, it's much more than just loudness it's about dynamics and making the track come to life.

A: Offering the customer a fresh set of trained ears to make the right adjustments and get the production to industry standard.

A: Balance and clarity on one side, punch and warmth on the other.
