I am Gabriel Amicci, brazilian metal singer/vocalist, frontman of the melodic metal band Aranih. I work as a professional singer to the styles mentioned in this profile. My main styles are Heavy Metal and Pop Music.
I am a multi-instrumentist, songwriter, producer, composer and singer, and I work with all kinds of music styles, but I am much more used to Heavy Metal (and all of it's subgenres),Pop, MPB, Bossa Nova, New Age, Classical Music,Rock and Lo-fi!

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am very inspired by Kiko Loureiro and his knownledge about music business, Gustavo Di Pádua and his expertise as a producer of any kind of musical genre. I also feel very inspired by some great vocalists as Andre Matos, Fabio Lione, Michael Kiske, Brendon Urie, Timo Kotipelto, Bruce Dickinson.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started my music carrer when I first decided I wanted to become a professional singer and musician, I learned how to sing with the amazing singer Luiz Syren, and learned everything I know about production with the incredible guitarrist and producer, Gustavo Di Pádua. I have been doing this for almost 7 years now.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd like to work with Brendon Urie, because he has an amazing creativity and incredible vocal skills. I also would love to work with my biggest inspirations!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is singing, and creating melodic vocal lines and lyrics.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I think that the biggest misconception about what we musicians do, is the common sense that build the wrong ideia of being very hard or impossible to have a good profitability and a solid lifestyle as professional musicians.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: At the moment I am working on the finalization of my band's album and in the creation of my solo project material.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: What I most like about my job is: I live my dream everyday.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I would advice you all to have a nice and friendly introduction, that certainly will open doors throughout your career, and also, be very smart while negotiating a serious work.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I like to mix many kinds of music styles to reach a brand new aesthetics.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: A good pre-production is the main core of an amazing song.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work with Heavy Metal, Pop Music and Lo-fi.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I like to bring truth to a song, I always search to get the essence of it, into the music itself and mix the feelings to give something that people will identify themselves.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: While working as a producer I always start with a pre-production to know better the songs and the style of the artists. Then, I like to give some ideas about the arrangements, melodies and interpretation. After we get a solid style based on what we worked together, we can start to record the songs, and finish the process with the mix and master. When I work as a singer/vocalist, I like to know what the project wants as a style, and I always try to reach the most convenient interpretation without losing my particular style.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have my own home studio and I use a Scarlett USB Interface, CM25 MkIII condenser microphone, HP60 MkIII professional closed-back headphones, Pro Tools X, Addictive Drums 2, Kontakt 5.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly work as a singer for my clients' projects and I also work as a producer, songwriter and instrumentalist in these projects.
