Had the privilege of getting to have Gabe play both bass and cellos on a track. He hit both out of the park. Gabe is a unicorn musician!

For me, the "unicorn" remote sessionists exist at the intersection of creativity, musicality, and proficiency. That is, someone who not only records an immaculate part, but who somehow also finds a way to subtly augment the song's narrative with a creativity an musicality in a way that you can't get enough of. Gabe is one of these elusive unicorns. His fretless bass part was brutally genius and utterly musical.
