I have recently received my membership card to ISSA (International Singer Songwriter Association).
I have been writing lyrics since the age of 14. It wasn't until recently I added melodies. I do not play an instrument. I used to but I have schizophrenia and my meds make it hard to use my fingers on a guitar, piano, etc. But I do appreciate my lyric making a lot. I do believe I write great lyrics. Most of the time.
