Interview with VARGENTA

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to do a song with Tiesto or The Chainsmokers. Really love both their styles.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: If i'm going to mention them all the list would be too long honestly, but for the oldschool it would have to be The Beatles and Daft Punk. If we are thinking about more modern inspiration it would have to be The Chainsmokers, Avicii & Hardwell.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I like to blend my analog gear with plugins to get best of both worlds.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common type of work I do is Mixing, Mastering and Ghost production. I love the diversity of the tracks from the clients ranging all the way from Pop to hardstyle.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: What I like most about my job is that I wake up looking forward to it everyday! Being in the studio, making music on my artist brand and helping others to achieve their desirable results makes me really happy.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That i'm just a DJ. I really like the production side of music as well and spending time in the studio.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: It's a cheesy one, but just keep making music, use your ears and never stop!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work on almost everything. For clients it goes all the way from Pop and Reggaeton to the Tomorrowland scene with House, Big Room & Hardstyle to name a but a few. I love the challenges the different genres brings to the table. For my artist brand I produce mainly a range of EDM.
