My credits are varied, "Plain Jayne", the experiences I've gained are through my musical journey. I like playing the "long shot" and will go the distance by being a friend when needed, but, will always speak of truths, not fallacies.....Want to sound like someone who went before, you, or you can strive for something out of the ordinary, original.
I am a lyricist, composer, "hook maker", and songwriter (BMI). Collaborations are a two way street, give and take and "pressure/ deadlines" compel me to achieve my best, always had an affinity for writing, began guitar studies with Lawrence Rizzoli at 8 years old, and have been playing, ever since. I busked in the Adirondacks, Brant Lake, Lake George areas of New York
and learned the value of carrying a guitar case and a sketch pad, when I was 15 years old.
Living in Florida for a time, I played with assorted people. “Blind Mike” comes to mind and was asked to join others, in their bands. My experiences are valued by me and some others who have an interest in me and my music. There is more to draw on, as I’ve just skimmed the surface….
In the past, I have crossed paths with other industry notables and with various bands and musicians. A few worth mentioning, here, as they influenced me, greatly! The musician/ bass player Gary “Goldstar” Scheiss, whose work with “the Terrorists”, “Plain Jayne” (in association with Lee “Scratch” Perry, the Skattallites, CBGB’s, etc.) and Tony Romeo, songwriter (“I Think I Love You”, with Wes Farrell Publisher, etc.), John Long, drums, Thomas “Coco” Percoco, sax, Scott Cutler, sax, Joe “Rock” Rocasta, drums, Ron Davis, guitar/ songwriter, others too!
