Rangemaster
Rangemaster is not just a great studio. It is a creative space packed with inspiring, useful and fun equipment. Rangemaster uses industry standard, classic & proven (and a good dose of retro) technology. Rangemaster is committed to producing music that holds its own on the worlds stage.
Rangemaster is located inside a huge mudbrick and recycled timber building designed by the legendary Alistair Knox. This building, made in the 70′s has many different environments all under the one roof.
The Studio Control room was acoustically designed for tonal neutrality. If a Mix is sounding great amid the comfortable 70′s decor, it will sound Massive on Radio. The drum booth lends itself to many applications and with mikes open, drums sound like ‘OK Computer’ and the 1st Foo Fighters album- Live and Real! This can of course be tamed for other styles.
The Main Hall is massive and suits live sessions, Brass, Choirs and Real Hall Reverb. There are many more nooks around the studio and the Mobile unit has access to country retreats for those recording getaway experiences
