Multi-instrumentalist and all around gear nerd, my 10+ years experience in music has given me incredible insight into how to make music not only sound "epic" from a sonic perspective, but also from an emotional perspective. Song arrangement, sound design, and finding the right tools for the job are just some of what I offer to my clients.
My background is in the "harder" styles of music, such as metal, punk and rock. I'm a trained vocalist in the bel canto style and can play guitar, bass and keyboards at a competent degree. I've got experience working on a multitude of recording consoles ranging from the SSL G series to more modern digital control surfaces. I would say my specialization is in songwriting and production- I'm a big fan of using distortion, delay and modulation to turn sound sources into soundscapes. The philosophy I adhere to is it shouldn't matter what genre you are choosing to play, a good song is a good song- and that a song's structure holds just as much importance as it's hook.
Services I offer include recording, mixing, production, songwriting, lyric writing and session work as a guitarist, bassist and vocalist. I utilize a ProTools system (I have different versions on different machines) and have a large Kontakt sample library. I usually do package rates for in-house production, but am willing to work on multiple aspects of a production regardless of scale or location. Provide a budget, and we'll go from there!
