Remote Mixing & Mastering

DiNamix Studios on SoundBetter

Let’s give your track the colour and shine it deserves! All professionally processed and ready for distribution. So far, I've worked on around 300 projects. I've worked with various genres, but most of my experience is with pop, rock, and hip hop.

I'm David Indelöf, a mixing and mastering engineer who has been involved in countless audio post-production projects. Primarily working through freelance platforms such as Fiverr and Upwork. I've also worked with independent record labels such as FnA records.
I started as a singer/guitar player in 2005 and continued to play with many bands over the decade, mostly within the rock genre. I completed a few tours in Europe and released albums through indie record labels, as well as a major record label.
Over the years, however, my passion for audio engineering has grown to become my true ardour. I have also studied audio engineering at Örebro University, to grow even further.
Being a musician myself and having spent endless hours in the studio, I know how important it is to get one's music to perfection.

  19. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  20. A: I started as a singer/guitar player in 2005 and continued to play with many bands over the decade, mostly within the rock genre. I completed a few tours in Europe and released albums through indie record labels, as well as a major record label. So far, I've worked on around 200 projects, and I have also studied audio engineering at Örebro University, to grow even further.

  22. A: Tight, punchy mixes with a lot of crisp.

  23. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  24. A: Tame Impala. Incredible song writing, and creative productions.

  25. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  26. A: Less is more! Do not apply something without an intention.

  27. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  28. A: Pop, Rock, and Rap

  29. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  30. A: A fundamental mixing process including EQ, Compression, vocal tuning, delay throws, and a lot more! I like to put a lot of emphasis on the vocals, with side chained reverb and pitch correction.

  31. Q: What's your typical work process?

  32. A: Editing Editing is the process of organizing your project. I'll create the best track out of multiple performances of the same section that you might have. Perhaps you have multiple vocal takes and want to make sure that only the best one is used. Furthermore, adjusting separate instruments to make them even tighter with the rest of the arrangement is also done if necessary. Sometimes background noise, pops, clicks, and other unwanted noise occurs in a recording. Editing makes sure that as much of this noise as possible is removed. Mixing Mixing is the process of balancing, enhancing each instrument's sonic character, and adding creative effects (vocal tuning, reverb, tape emulation, etc.). Your recorded track will be mixed with pro-quality software plugins, as well as analogue outboard gear. The mixing process makes sure that your track shines to its full potential! If the mixed track is required to be mastered outside of Di Studios, your file from me is always delivered in a WAV file according to pre-mastering standards. Mastering Mastering is the final polishing of your mixed track! Giving it the appropriate loudness, enhancing the overall cohesive character of the song, and giving it the right fullness, punch, and clarity. Your track is mastered according to its distribution purpose; whether it's streaming services (Spotify, YouTube, etc. ), CD, or vinyl. Mastering, furthermore, makes sure that your track sounds great on all playback devices.

  33. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  34. A: Hybrid setup with Waves software plugins, as well as analogue outboard gear.

  35. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  36. A: Most song writers and producers within the pop, rock, and rap genre. Shellback, Bob Rock, Fleming Rasmussen, Dr. Dre...

  37. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  38. A: Mixing, editing, and mastering. Includes vocal tuning, sound effects, and a lot more.

  39. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  40. A: Both! They have their benefits in their one way. A lot of digital plugins these days provide a genuine analog vibe.

  41. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  42. A: What are stems? Stems are stereo audio tracks consisting of mixes of multiple individual tracks. It is a single track of a song exported as a single file. Drums for example usually consists of several stems (kick, toms, snare etc). What do you need from me in order to start working? Send me WAV/AIFF files of each stem/track without processing, (no EQ, Compression, Reverb etc). Also, make sure that the tracks are in synch. You’ll provide me with the files via Dropbox or Google drive. If you´re working in Logic Pro X, you can send me the whole session. If you wish you can send me your rough mix and/or a reference track as a guideline. You will get a high quality mixed and mastered track in WAV and mp3, 44.1 kHz format.

  43. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  44. A: A guitar, my computer, the interface and my keyboard
