Currently half a million streams on Spotify with Danny G & the Major 7ths. Original neo-soul music. I write, sing & arrange the music. Catchy yet sophisticated retro soul with an R&B groove. Support slots include PJ Morton among others.

My speciality is songwriting & arrangement. I sing, play flute and guitar. My preferred genre is Soul music (Marvin Gaye & D'Angelo are personal heroes). I was raised on the Beatles and later fell in love with everything from Motown to Classic Rock to Gloria Estefan. For my own group I write, arrange song structures & specifically specialise in vocal harmony (and brass parts). I'd be very interested in writing for other artists, in collaborating, and also writing mood pieces for film.

I also play traditional Irish music (flute, bodhran, guitar, mandolin)
