Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Less is more. Intentionally choosing one great sound is always better than stacking lots of sounds that are just okay.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: The bulk of my work is in the worship genre. Modern worship music is rooted in the rock genre with elements of atmospheric and electronic music as well.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is my knowledge in music theory. This foundation allows me to be creative in production, precise in editing, and intentional in mixing.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My background in musical performance is very diverse. This allows me to pull from a large variety of sources when working on a song. I always try to provide exactly what the song needs and my background allows me to do just that.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Like most other producers I am inspired by Max Martin. I am inspired by his ability to give a song exactly what it needs, no more and no less. From a mixing standpoint I am inspired by Andrew Scheps. His versatility in genre has always been something that I have aspired to.
