Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Too many to say, but working on "The District" Album was great experience.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Three different songs for various artist.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Not at the moment.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital imitating Analog, Analog sound better to me but is expensive and time consuming, these days digital has been getting really good.

Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It doesn't feel like work.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How long does it take to mix my song? Depends on my workload and what I'm given to work with. Typically I take 3-4 days to mix and master a song but I do give two week turnaround time due to making sure i love my work before sending for review. I also can do faster turn around times if needed from the artist.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I just push the record button.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Do they use autotune? Do they know what reference song they are going for? How long have they been a recording artist?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Try it. You will never know until you try our service out.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: my computer, audio interface, and my hd650 headphones, townsend mic, and jy harman pardon speaker for playback. With this setup id can do what i do now.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: over 10 years, self taught worked at studio for a few years then open my own, also going to LA and working with Desiigner and many other great artist have shaped my on going skill.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: skillful adaptable, current or modern.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Drake, to get confirmation on what I'm doing is correct and to be on the same paying field of greatness is an honor.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't Knock it, till you try it.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: R&B, HipHop, Top40, pop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Vocal treatment, and bringing the sauce to a song.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: my creative vision and years of experience but at the end of the day its your song so you will always have the last say, I do give suggestions that I see will enhance the song but its up to the artist to make the last call.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I'm flexible to the artist style, I'm very adaptable in any situation.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: NS-10 Monitors, running Universal Audio and Townsend mic and preamp setup with many high end plugins, as well as acoustically treated room for accurate monitoring.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Drake, The Weekend, Tory Lanes, Lil Baby, Tyga.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Recording and Mixing. Also vocal melody concepts and music arrangements.
