Israel Amoy on SoundBetter

Israel Amoy has worked as a session musician for several years, touring with support bands for names such as Shawn Mendes, The Vamps and R5. More recently however, he has been writing and producing for local artists as well as international unsigned and major label artists.

Residing in Adelaide, Australia, Israel worked his way into the music industry as a cover artist, performing at weddings and other private functions. He then worked as a session musician with several Australian bands, playing the drums and guitar, as well as controlling playback rigs. Throughout this experience, Israel has shared the stage with names such as Shawn Mendes, The Vamps, Jack and Jack, R5, Conrad Sewell and many more. In 2017, he was also invited to Los Angeles, along with Australian band, Lynk, to compete in the Youtube competition, 'The Best Cover Ever'. Throughout this experience, he was able to perform a cover of 'Chained to the Rhythm' by Katy Perry in front of Katy Perry herself and rapper, Ludacris; as well as take away some world class mentoring along the way.

More recently, however, Israel has been perfecting his skills as a songwriter, music producer and mix engineer. Over the past two years, he has worked with many Australian and International singer/songwriters to guide the vision for their individual project.

Israel is open to any project, big or small, and would love for you to get in contact today to chat about how he can guide your creative vision to make your record the best it could possibly sound.

I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Israel on over 20 projects for his talents in producing, songwriting, as a session musician (live drums, keys, guitar, backing vocals) and as a featured solo vocalist. Israel brings an immensely uplifting energy to all our studio sessions and has a tonne of knowledge from his work with live bands as well as experience as an electronic music producer. I’m truly grateful for his involvement with my musical journey, not just as a musician but also as a supporter and friend.

Very thoughtful and understanding, offering amazing creative input when necessary, and otherwise catering to our needs at every turn. He made us feel very comfortable and at home during the recording and mixing processes and he will be our first choice with any future projects.
