For the past 12 years I've been a self-employed sound designer/editor/score writer for audio plays.
I wrote the theme tune for 'Bad Language' a BBC radio comedy quiz show.
I'm a veteran of live bands & have played guitar/sung at Glastonbury Festival as well as lots of smaller events.
I do straight forward editing of actors/singers, comping sweetening & sequencing.
I can provide SFX, both industry standard and self-recorded foley.
In June 2015 the New York Radio Awards gave 'Brenda & Effie: Bat Out Of Hull' (Bafflegab Productions,) 'gold' in the Audio Book section. I was responsible for the final vocal Edit, SFX and mIx/mastering on that (and all of the other Brenda & Effie stories.)
I write a wide range of original music, from Drum & Bass through rock to orchestral. Using guitars, synthesizers, samples, found sounds and granular synthesis.
I have edited/comped actors, created SFX, scored and mixed & mastered over 30 full length Doctor Who (and other fiction) audio plays.
My credits include
- Anyware Tinysizer
- Chapman ML-1 guitar
- Emu 1610m soundcard
- ( & all of my other toys!)
