Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: A project I recently worked on attracted a major label which would like to invest a large amount of money into promotion and a music video for the artist. I am very proud that my work can have such an impact.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working with major labels in Ireland and Sweden on any mixing, mastering and production need they may have.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I don't know anyone else on Soundbetter.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog is always preferable over digital but since the equipment is very expensive I stick to digital plugins which still give fantastic results.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will work on your vocals/ the mix until you are completely satisfied with the work.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Once you master the skill the job becomes easy. I am at a level where I don't consider my work a job but rather enjoyment.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Why do I charge so cheap? There is no catch actually. I charge cheap as I am still new in the game. I am trying to attract a clientele and build a portfolio which can be difficult. The music industry is extremely competitive.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I have a good ear for music and a good taste in how a mix should sound like.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I make raw vocals sound professional and bring the song to an industry standard quality.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mix clients' vocals making sure that the compression, eq and tuning are on point and the the vocal sits on the instrumental perfectly.
