I will help you create & make your music sound like a record.
My name is Bjarki and I am a multi-instrumentalist, producer, mixing and mastering engineer from Iceland with over 10 years experience in the music industry.
I specialize in Pop music / EDM / Synthwave even though my background is mainly rock and metal music. I grew up listening to jazz music so of course I needed to rebel a little bit and joined the metal scene here in Iceland but after few years of headbanging I found my place in alternative pop music. Synthwave was my opening eye to the softer side, since I absolutly love the 80s.
I am happy that this journey got me to this place since I can use my background to move pop music in different directions both in sound and production.
Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

Bomarz delivered a powerful and clear mix in such a short time and made our song sound the way we had imagined in our head. He understood what we were trying sonically and expanded on that idea, which is such an important and rare skill. Highly recommend!

Bomarz is legit! This dude it extremely talented. He mixed and mastered a single of mine in no time at all, it felt like overnight. I’m still new to recording and am getting used to capturing raw audio in the most optimal way. Bomarz took my good track and just absolutely perfected the sound I was going for. He had great communication skills, fast turn around and revisions, and an ear for what sounds good. I’d definitely like to work with him again in the future! Thanks man!

Amazing job!
He was really professional and did everything I asked for and even more!
Couldn’t recommend anyone doing a better job than he did👌 Extremely talented and hard-working. He has a clear vision and enforces it with great speed, accuracy and good artistic value. He makes an effort to understand the artist and values his/her/their freedom to explore the art, as well as offering guidance in the direction the artist wants to go. He puts the "producer" in producer. I highly recommend!
Bjarki is one of the most talented guys ive ever seen, no matter the style he is a true musician and incrdible producer, definitely the best option is work with him, and the last thing but not less important is a super nice guy !
I have used Bjarki's services for mix and mastering for all of my work for the past few years.
He is a living example of why services like Landr just don't cut it.
Never disappointed but always crips, clear and punchy, that's why I won't be working with anyone else anytime soon!Bomarz is a force to be reckoned with, he is truly gifted in many areas, as a singer/songwriter/producer as well as a multi instrumentalist.
When it comes to mixing and mastering he is like a fish in the water and sure know´s how to turn them knobs to make whatever music he is working on sound it´s best.
I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to their songs from their head to sounding radio ready.
Interview with Bomarz
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: The short answer is everyone. The long one is too long.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, Big fan of analog gear tho. but recalls and all that is just pain in the ass if you are analog. but Analog summing and good pre amps is cool.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I always do my best.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I am living the dream honestly, My work is my passion.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Talk with them, I think connection is key. music is art and when you hire someone to work on something important with you there needs to be trust and understanding where the final destination will be.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, DT 770, midi controler, guitar and my brain.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Over 10 years, I have always been involved with music since I was 5 years old. But started releasing music 10 years ago and have been working projects for clients since than.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Probably Climie Fisher, That voice is just addictive.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Dont do layering to hide elements, use layering to enhance. I would say that. All elements no matter the volume, should be cool on their own.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop music, Urban, Hiphop, Edm
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I wanna say mixing. But its probably producing. I am gonna say both. I think production and mixing these days holds hand in hand and I do alot of both.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I tend to follow the artists vision, but If I had 2x words to describe my work its Punch and Vibe.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Its never the same. when it starts getting typical its not creative anymore I think. both in producing and mixing. for example I don´t use templates for anything. I know there are pros and cons but I always look at it as I am painting a picture. So why should I always paint in the same layout. but there is nothing right or wrong in this matter ofcourse.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My setup is pretty basic, I try to keep things simple. When it comes to production and songwriting I feel like I need to have everything by the hand. so I´m surrounded by Instruments, Synths and midi controllers. And than when it comes to mixing I tend to work mostly in the box. I count on my clean pre-amps and some compression on the way in. rest is in the box. I mix on Adam A77x as main monitors, second setup is Focal alpha without sub (for mid work) and than I check everything on my DT 770 pro also. when it comes to software I use Cubase 10.5 as a main DAW, than I Use plugins from all over, I tend to go for Mcdsp alot and Plugin Alliance.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Produce and mix pop music is my main thing for sure
