I've been a very successful session/live bassist and musical director for many national pop stars. I also did major touring throughout Europe and the US. But you know what? I want more than that! Being an artist, producer and writer myself, I know about the challenges we as creatives are facing each and every day. It's a tough path to go, but it's definitely worth it. I've been through all those phases from trying to reach out to music industry people to get signed in order to "make it" to "I'm gonna do everything on my own and learn every aspect about the process of making a record". All of those phases are extremely valuable and taught me lessons I'll always benefit from in my life as a professional music creator. I've put out records and singles in the past for which I basically did EVERYTHING by myself: Writing, Producing, Recording, Mixing, Mastering. And it worked. But here's my conclusion after years of going this path: You're tracks will end up sounding good, but they will not have the magnetic impact on your listeners as your favorite records do. This is because music is a language. The more respectful and interested the participants of this conversation (or song) interact - the better the conversation will turn out. COLLABORATION IS KEY TO MAJOR SUCCESS! Everytime I played with a great band, or reached out for somebody to write with something magical happened.
