Endorse Mile Road StudioWith my band Esequiem we have recorded the second album "Perpetual Devouring Dissolution". Very professional and helpful, especially in understanding what the band wants. Recommended.
We (Nero or the fall of Rome) had the chance to collaborate with Mile Road Studio, and the finished work is all we wanted. Giorgio is a great professional, working together with the band throughout the process to make the most of his excellent work. Great producer, excellent final product. MRS Studio is a guarantee.
I have been able to collaborate with MRS for various projects and I can guarantee that for the prices on the market the quality is high. There is always the desire to do better and MRS offers cutting-edge equipment, creativity and experience, both technically and artistically.
Giorgio loves challenges, he continues to research and experiment, always taking into account the musical genre and the needs of the artists he works with. Every time I enter his studio there is a new gear or some new plug-in. Top producer.Recorded two album at Mile Road Studio. Excellent work, Giorgio is very professional.
If you want to record an album don't hesitate to contact him.
I recommend MRStudio
Interview with Mile Road Studio
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I look for CLARITY putting every instrument at its right place, making everything tight and audible, with a costant low end. Vocals upfront of course. The general vibe is important but most of the time it's already in there so I simply make it more evident.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I do a quick balancing of the whole song to understanding it better. Processing all the instruments together tweaking here and there only if needed to maintain the original sound of the band. At the end I add automations and effects if needed.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Crystal clear.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My workflow is hybrid. It starts with SSL preamps while recording, combining Cubase Pro and Elysia modules while mixing, finalizing the song through a full analog chain.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am a big fan of HERTZ STUDIO in Poland, owend by Wiesławski brothers. Very clean yet powerful productions. I played in the past with some of their Artists. My goal in metal music is to produce albums like those. In addition of that I am a big fan of Chris Lord Alge.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I start by SPEAKING with them to understand how they want to sound. Before recording I invest time to find the right sound for every instrument. Because of that the mixing process is quite fast. Finally when the mix has been approved by the artist I proceed with the mastering session and deliver the files to the clients.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: The metal opera "A Christmas Carol" by Riul Doamnei, based on the famous novel. I engineered all the productive process. It took me 3 months of work without rest, like never before. Worked with a full band plus orchestra components and guests.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Track instruments at the very best of your possibilities. A well recorded song sounds good even before mixing. You can't fix that later.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I played in a band for ten years, produced our albums, went on tours. I know how difficult it is to emerge. Now I can help bands making them songs audible. I still have the chance to work with people who love music like me, listening to their ideas. To experiment. Every day in this business is gorgeous.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both... Analog for the sound, digital for the comforts.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started at a very young age working with audiotapes, recording with really bad gear (lol) then after that I bought my first decent keyboard and mics, found a band in my city, started to compose my own music... and here I am now.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To be fully available towards the best result.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Many bands think computer can fix anything. They use it as a justification to play badly, without preparation. This is sad.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I prefer to be available for different genres, not focusing on a particular one. This helps me doing better every time.
